Tour Itinerary

Wellcome to Ha Giang

We have frequent buses from Hanoi to Ha Giang and Ha Giang-Hanoi or sapa-Ha Giang every day, with departures from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM – choose the time that suits you best!

Day 1 : Ha Giang – Heaven Gate – Lung Tam Village – Tam Son – Can Ty – Lonely Tree – Yen Minh Tower – Yen Minh

First you will be woken up and start your morning routine, after which you can enjoy the breakfast prepared at our hostel. After breakfast, you can choose your helmet and meet the tour guide for a briefing on the tour schedule, maybe at 7, 8 or 9am about 30 minutes then Depart and travel on the 4C national highway, checking in at Bac Sum Pass.

Continue moving and the next stop is Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountains where you can have a panoramic view of the majestic mountains of Quan Ba district and Tam Son town.

Stop to rest and have lunch at Quan Ba at 12:30 Pm

Next Visiting brocade weaving village located in Lung Tam village, where you can witness the quintessence of H’mong people.

Continue moving to Yen Minh district, on the journey to Yen Minh, you can enjoy the majestic valleys with long terraced fields and the typical cat ear rock mountains of Ha Giang. In the everning you can check in at Tom Homestay to rest after a day of travel and have dinner, enjoy leavened corn wine, and sing karaoke together to satisfy your hidden passion for music.

Day 2: Yen Minh – Vuong House – Lung Cu Flagpole – North Pole – Dong Van.

Wake up and have breakfast at the homestay at 7h30, prepare your luggage, and continue your journey to explore Ha Giang Loop, In around 30 minutes, we’ll make a stop at Tham Ma Pass, a famous scenic spot where you can enjoy the view and take some great photos. In the next 30 minutes, you’ll stop to check in at Chin Khoanh Slope and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Sung Valley – a place often called a miniature Sweden.
Then you will visit Lao Xa Village, which has pristine beauty and also holds many unique features of the H’mong people and is famous for the hand-crafted silver jewelry casting at 10 am.

Move to visit Nha Vuong, a unique architectural work located in the heart of Dong Van Rock Plateau, in Sa Phin commune. This is the residence of Meo King Vuong Chinh Duc, who used to rule this land in the late 19th century – early 20th century. With ancient architecture and the harmonious combination of Chinese, Hmong, and French cultures at 11am. After visiting Nha Vuong, we will stop and have lunch at Sa Phin.

After relaxing for about an hour, we’ll hit the road again and continue exploring to the northernmost point, the first place of the Vietnamese homeland, the border between Vietnam and China and visit Lo Lo Chai village, a small village with traditional earthen-walled house architecture, a peaceful space located at the foot of Dragon Mountain at 15pm.

Then move to Dong Van district, This place is not only famous for the Dong Van Rocky Plateau – UNESCO Global Geopark, but also owns majestic natural landscapes, ancient ethnic villages, and unique culture.

Stop traveling to take pictures and check in at beautiful places where you can have a panoramic view of the valley about 1 hour. Check in at Hotel to rest, and have dinner at 7:30 pm in Dong Van.

Day 3: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Lung Ho – Ha Giang

Wake up and get ready for the adventure 7:30 am

Start your morning with a hearty breakfast at the hostel. After recharging your energy, we’ll hit the road and continue our journey deep into the breathtaking Dong Van Karst Plateau – a UNESCO Global Geopark full of dramatic landscapes and mountain legends.

Visit the local market (if it’s Sunday) about 8:30 am

If today is Sunday, we’ll make a stop at the vibrant Dong Van fair market – a cultural mosaic where ethnic groups from surrounding villages gather to trade goods and stories. From handmade textiles to traditional foods, the market is a feast for the senses.

Afterwards, we set off toward one of Vietnam’s most legendary roads: Ma Pi Leng Pass.

Conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass at 9:00 am

Known as one of the “Four Great Passes” of Vietnam, Ma Pi Leng stuns with winding cliffside roads, dizzying drop-offs, and jaw-dropping views over the Nho Que River far below. This is where mountains meet the sky – and it’s a must-stop for every traveler.

Take your time to breathe in the crisp mountain air and snap unforgettable photos at one of the most scenic viewpoints in Southeast Asia.

Trek to the White Cliff about 10:00 am

Next, we set off on a short trek to the White Cliff – a hidden gem nestled within Ma Pi Leng’s rugged cliffs. The path may be narrow, but the reward is immense: a thrilling sense of standing on the edge of the world.
Journey to Meo Vac at 11:00 Am

Continue the ride to Meo Vac district, winding through mountain passes. We’ll stop at a panoramic viewpoint to admire Meo Vac town from above – a peaceful settlement tucked between limestone peaks, like a painting come to life.

12:00 PM – Lunchtime in Mau Due

Stop at Mau Due commune to rest and enjoy a delicious local lunch. Let the flavors of Ha Giang cuisine warm your soul as you take in the serene mountain scenery.

Discover the magical Ban An stream at 1:30 Pm

After lunch, we head to Ban An stream, often called “Tuyệt Tình Cốc of Ha Giang.” This hidden gem looks like it was pulled straight from a fairy tale – crystal-clear jade waters, untouched natural beauty, and a sense of peace that washes over you. It’s a perfect place to unwind, take photos, or simply soak in the beauty.

Lung Ho Valley at 3:10 Pm

Our journey continues to Lung Ho Valley, where ancient stilt houses lie nestled at the foot of towering cliffs. We’ll stop here to admire the view, take pictures, and breathe in the quiet charm of this timeless place.

Arrive in Du Gia village at 4:30 Pm

End the day in the peaceful village of Du Gia, surrounded by emerald hills and rice terraces. Check in at a cozy local homestay, then enjoy free time to explore the village – known for its wooden stilt houses and the warm hospitality of the Tay ethnic people.

Day 4: Du Gia – Lung Ho – Ha Giang A Peaceful Farewell to Ha Giang

Start your day with nature’s refreshment at 8 am

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the homestay before heading to Du Gia Waterfall, a hidden gem surrounded by lush greenery. Here, you can take a refreshing dip in the cool, crystal-clear water – the perfect way to awaken your senses and start the day feeling renewed.

We continue our journey through winding mountain roads and sweeping valleys. The landscapes of Ha Giang stretch endlessly before you – majestic, wild, and untouched. It’s a ride that speaks to the soul of every adventurer.

Lunch in Thai An commune-12pm

We’ll stop for a well-deserved lunch in the peaceful village of Thai An, nestled in the mountains. This is a great chance to relax, refuel, and chat with fellow travelers.

Unwind at Boong Waterfall in the afternoon

After lunch, take a moment to unwind at Boong Waterfall – a serene, lesser-known spot hidden in the forest. The gentle sound of cascading water and the cool mountain air create a peaceful oasis for rest and reflection.
On the road to Ha Giang city

We begin our final stretch back to Ha Giang city, stopping at a few scenic viewpoints along the way. From here, you’ll witness the panoramic beauty of calm, blue rivers winding through the mountains – a view that will stay with you long after the journey ends.

Tour ends in Ha Giang city-4pm

Upon arrival in Ha Giang, you can rest, take a shower, and prepare for your next destination. While you wait for your night bus, feel free to relax at our hostel.
